Decoration on the pick-guard (the reason it's called a hummingbird, I guess) is quite worn.One of the saddle pins is not the original black-dot style. being a kiso Suzuki with the first number of your serial being an 8 and knowing that kiso did not build after 1985/86 your kiso will have a square label, is your guitar a gypsy ( maccaferri copy if I remember correctly ) anyway your guitar is made in 1978 3606, , 1951- 1970 kisos had the build year stamped and the model number.Bottom catch on the case is missing - but the case still closes securely.The thread on the top E tuning peg is perhaps a little worn, as it needs tightening every now and then - or you could easily replace it.It's a loud, bright-sounding instrument with plenty of depth and resonance. The main thing is that structurally it's sound and it plays perfectly.
This is a real period piece, made in 1973. I've owned it since the late 70s and apart from when playing it, I've kept it in a hard case (which I'll include in the sale), so it has only a few minor signs of wear on the body/neck.
